GP2 Series – Ready for Sochi
Six weeks after Monza, Raffaele Marciello will be back at the wheel this weekend in Sochi, on a new track, for the next-to-last stage of the GP2 season. For the Caslano driver, who has spent long days doing physical training and in the simulator, the prospect of racing again is almost a liberation: he is eager to be on the track and deliver a good performance. The bitter aftertaste of Monza’s disappointment is still present, and Sochi represents a golden opportunity to climb back to the top positions of the standings. “It will be interesting” Lello says. “It’s a new, spectacular track. I am on my game and I feel positive about this weekend’s races.” The Sochi schedule – which runs parallel to the F1 – is as follows: Friday – qualifying rounds; Saturday – Race 1; Sunday – Race 2.

GP2 Series – Pronto per Sochi
A 6 settimane dall’ultima uscita di Monza, Raffaele Marciello torna in pista nel weekend a Sochi, su un circuito del tutto inedito, in quello che è il penultimo appuntamento stagionale per la GP2. Per il pilota di Caslano è quasi una liberazione dopo i lunghi giorni passati tra allenamenti fisici e simulatore: la voglia di scendere in pista è tanta come è tanto il desiderio di fare una bella gara. Monza ha in effetti lasciato un po’ di amaro in bocca e Sochi rappresenta una ghiotta occasione per tornare ai vertici della classifica. “Sarà interessante – dice Lello – È un circuito nuovo e che si annuncia spettacolare. Sono in forma e ho buone sensazioni”. Il programma in Russia – che si svolge parallelamente alla F1 – è il seguente: venerdì Qualifiche, sabato pomeriggio Gara-1 e domenica mattina Gara-2.
