IT’S OFFICIAL! RAFFAELE IS A MERCEDES-AMG FACTORY DRIVER
It’s official! Raffaele Marciello is proud to announce that he has joined the Mercedes-AMG family as Factory Driver. Still energised by the successes obtained in last year’s Blancpain GT Series championship (which include a monumental performance at the 24h of Spa, where Raffaele drove for 14 hours) the 23 years old driver from Ticino has started 2018 with a bang, earning Mercedes a second place in the Australian Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour race.
2018 promises to be a very busy year for Marciello, who will divide his time between the Blancpain GT Series championship, the Blancpain GT Asia championship, the Intercontinental GT Challenge and a few VLN appearances.
He will be back behind the wheel starting next week, when he will travel to the Paul Ricard track in France for the official tests of the Blancpain championship.

ORA È UFFICIALE! RAFFAELE È FACTORY DRIVER MERCEDES-AMG
E’arrivata l’ufficialità per una decisione che ormai conoscevamo da tempo: Mercedes-AMG ha nominato Raffaele Marciello Factory Driver per la casa di Affalterbach.
Il 23enne ticinese, dopo essere stato grande protagonista lo scorso anno nel campionato Blancpain GT Series con la storica impresa alla 24H di Spa guidando per ben 14 ore, ha iniziato alla grande il 2018 guidando per la casa Tedesca alla Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour in Australia, finendo in seconda posizione.
Il 2018 si prospetta un anno ricco di impegni per Raffaele che si dovrà dividera tra il Campionato Blancpain GT Series, il campionato Blancpain GT Asia, l’Intercontinental GT Challenge ed alcune apparizioni nel VLN.
I motori si accenderanno nuovamente per Marciello già la prossima settimana dove sarà impegnato nei test ufficiali del campionato Blancpain presso il circuito Francese del Paul Ricard.
